Enrollment
See the MUSD Enrollment Webpage for information on enrollment. Please read MUSD Enrollment Webpage carefully for the fastest way to get answers to your questions. You must enroll your child at your resident school based on your Milpitas resident address. If you do not know your resident school, please use the District's School Locator.
Families should complete online enrollment, and then wait to be contacted regarding completing the enrollment process. Mattos will be notified when you've completed online enrollment and you will be contacted in the order enrollment was completed. Please do not come to Mattos in person without an appointment. Questions can be directed to Kathlynn Jimenez, Mattos school secretary, at kjimenez@musd.org and 408.635.2695 x2108.

If you are not assigned another MUSD elementary school prior to the first day of school, you should go to Mattos on the first day of school and await your assignment there. Anyone on the waitlist who is not seated at Mattos will be assigned to another school within the first 10 days of school.
If my child is on a waitlist, how will I know when a seat is available? The Mattos School Office will contact you by phone as soon as the seat becomes available.
